In Canada we just finished our Thanksgiving celebration . Thanksgiving seems to come & go so quickly but the best fall side dish recipes can be used over and over again during the cooler months to come.
On the West Coast we are having an unseasonably warm October and vegetables that normally only grow till September are still going strong.
Over the years I have had so many of you say that you just loved my vegetable medleys, in particular so I thought I would share some of my readers favorites.
Here are some of my best fall side dish recipes:

Roasted Squash Medley
This Roasted Squash Medley makes enough to feed 10-15 people so you may want to cut my recipe in half.
Southern Brussels Sprouts

When I make a vegetable dish with a little bit of pancetta (fancy bacon) I always think about the hilarious character named Bunny Swan on Saturday Night Live. Bunny was famous for saying “I’ll have the vegetarian meal with just a little bit of bacon”. Anyway, if your family members don’t like these Southern Brussels Sprouts I’ll be very surprised and you can drop the leftovers off at my house!
Cabbage Beet Slaw

It’s really nice to have cold side dishes included in a hot Thanksgiving meal. It gives our palettes a nice change from the hot, richer dishes. The spices included in this Cabbage Beet Slaw are particularly yummy with any fall meal so you may want to make it often.
Festive Quinoa Salad

If you are looking for another side salad dish for Thanksgiving dinner, this Festive Quinoa Salad is the perfect addition.
Spiced Root Vegetable Casserole

This Spiced Root Casserole is another dish that will make even the most ardent disliker of root vegetables into a raving fan.

I enjoy your food creations….
Looking forward to seeing you over the holidays…
