A couple of weeks ago we were over at my oldest daughter’s home and she brought out her newest baking creation. She said, try this and let me know if you don’t think this is the best granola you have ever tasted. I tried a small handful and said “this is the absolutely the best granola I have ever eaten-it’s Granola Supreme!
She sent me home with a jar of this delectable granola and her Granola Supreme recipe and I told her that I thought my readers would totally love it.
There are so many ways you can use granola and I have included a few ideas below.
Granola Supreme

Ingredients
- 2 cups gluten free oats
- 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
- ¼ cup flaked almonds
- 1/3 cup coconut
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- ¼ cup pumpkin seeds
- ¼ cup chopped walnuts3 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ cup pure maple syrup
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 5 Tbsp. Orange juice

Method
Preheat oven to 280 degrees F
Mix all the dry ingredients together in a medium sized bowl and set aside. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine coconut oil and maple syrup and heat on low. Once heated, remove from the pan and add vanilla, cinnamon and orange juice.
Add the saucepan ingredients to the dry ingredients and combine well.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake for 45 minutes. Briefly stirring approximately every 5 minutes until the granola looks golden brown.
Remove the tray and leave to cool (no snacking till the granola is cool, even though you will be sorely tempted).
Once cool it is best to store this Granola Supreme in glass bottles to keep the crunchiness and flavor.

Use this delicious crunchy Granola Supreme as a cereal with milk or dairy substitute or, create a yogurt parfait or special breakfast smoothie bowl. Also it’s delicious right out of your hand for snacking.
If you make this recipe I think you will agree that this is the best granola you have ever tried.
