For the last 2 and a half years I have been taking some deep personal development from an amazing Life Coach. Here name is Tonya Leigh & she runs a membership called The School of Self Image. Our self image is how we see ourselves. I have enjoyed much person growth from her teachings & now am pleased to invite you , as my personal guest, to a mini-retreat she is giving at the end of August.
Have you ever , like me, found yourself wondering why, even after a restful night’s sleep – you wake up carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders?
You feel a little like you’re trudging through quicksand, and it’s not even 9 am yet!
This invisible foe has a name, and it’s name is STRESS.
Stress, when allowed to fester, chips away at your personal well-being, dampens your relationships, drains your finances, and cripples your productivity.
It’s a silent thief, robbing you of joy, vitality, and peace.
And here’s the alarming part: It’s also robbing you of health.
As a personal trainer & weight loss specialist for over 4 decades, I have seen the effects that stress has on the body. Stress takes a toll on our hormones, our hunger, our heart health, our happiness… even our humanity. (I don’t know about you but I am not at my best when I’m stressed out.)
This Summer take time to Reduce Stress
I want to let you in on a pivotal secret:
Tonya teaches that the counter to stress isn’t denying your emotions but understanding them.
Choosing calm doesn’t mean sweeping negative emotions like sadness, anger, or anxiety under the rug.
Quite the contrary – it means acknowledging these emotions, feeling them on purpose, and learning what they’re trying to communicate to you.
Your emotions are a source of power, not a sign of weakness.
And that’s why I created something to help you let go of stress.
It is my immense pleasure to invite you to a mini retreat that my life coach, Tonya Leigh is holding…
A Week Of Calm
August 21 – 25
10 AM PT / 1 PM ET
A Virtual Mini-Retreat to Prioritize Your Well-being, Protect Your Peace, and Restore Your Joy
Set aside just one hour a day & join us from the comfort of your home.
During this transformative week, Tonya will uncover:
✨ Powerful strategies to manage your emotions
✨ Techniques to rewire your brain to mitigate stress
✨ And ultimately, how to find your calm in any situation
What would it be like to let go of resistance, accept what is happening, and channel your focus toward being the most powerful version of yourself?
It requires that you change the lens through which you look at life.
This journey is about embracing self-love in the face of adversity and making conscious choices about how you show up at any moment.
Week of Calm is what the world needs right now. It’s here to offer you a lifeline. It’s a chance to reset your emotions, soothe your nervous system, and make some new choices that will lead to a very different experience of life.
I hope you will join me, as my guest, to this pivotal Week of Calm. Here is a personal note from Tonya
“Hey friends,
We’ve all experienced a range of trying times in recent years which brings up a lot of different emotions.
I’m sure you’ve felt your share of fear, worry, anxiety, and uncertainty.
However, you’ve undoubtedly experienced some beautiful emotions like love, compassion, connection and courage as well.
There are always bound to be situations happening in the world that make it seem like we need to panic or worry, but I’d like to offer you another option: Calm.
As a former critical care nurse, I know how to tap into calm when surrounded by stress and chaos.
Learning how to access calm is so important because:
– Calm boosts your immune system (because we’re not pumping cortisol through your veins 24-7)
– Calm feels better (and when we feel better, we take better action)
– Calm allows for possibilities (every challenge offers a new possibility but we can’t access it when we’re in survival mode)
– Calm is contagious (and we need to continue spreading it to our children, families, and communities).
While I’ve certainly witnessed my mind wanting to panic in recent times, I have the tools to bring it back to calm, and I want to share them with you.
I’d love for you to join me for one of my most popular events, “Week of Calm.”
I promise that I’m not going to tell you to think positively or to pretend things in the world aren’t happening. (Our brains are way smarter than that.)
What I am going to share with you is how to handle whatever you’re feeling right now and learn how to calm down that part of you that fears the worst, so that you can anticipate and plan for the best.
How we choose to show up in any challenging time is going to dictate how we come out of it.
If you want to come out stronger, smarter, and more confident than ever, join us.”
