Years ago I had the best fruit salad I had ever tasted at a buffet luncheon hosted by my mother in law. I immediately asked for the recipe and Wendy, the creator happily gave it to me.
I don’t know why I have taken so long to share this best fruit salad with you but Wendy, wherever you are, thank you for this amazing recipe.
The dressing for this recipe could be amazing on any combination of greens with fruit or even on a simple mixed green salad. The whole salad is super simple to make. You create the dressing night before you want to use it and refrigerate it. The day of your party simply combine all the salad ingredients, pour over this delicious dressing, toss and enjoy!
This salad would be amazing on its own for a light lunch dish or would bring pizzaz to any summer dinner party. Try it with a main dish like Westcoast Salmon Supreme or Chicken in Sour Cream for a beautiful pairing. This salad could even gourmet up a burger night.
I can’t wait for you to try it and I think that you too will agree that this is the best fruit salad combination you have ever tried.
